Lori Norton is the IPS (Individual Placement and Support) Supported Employment Project Director-IPS Supported Employment Trainer for the University of Kentucky-Human Development Institute. Lori has worked with and on behalf of people with disabilities since 1988. First as a teacher’s assistant, an employment specialist for a non-profit agency and a community mental health center as well as Vocational Rehabilitation as a Supported Employment Consultant prior to working at UK with the Community Work Transition Program. She began working with IPS Supported Employment as an IPS SE trainer when Kentucky began implementing IPS in 2010. She believes everyone who wants to work should have the opportunity to do so!
