Jennifer Hicks, has been at the Commonwealth Council on Developmental Disabilities (CCDD) for 3 years.  As Program Manager, she works to ensure that the Council’s projects and activities are completed. Ms. Hicks liaisons with contractors and vendors for proper data collection and accuracy of the Council’s yearly federal report.  Prior to her time at CCDD, Ms. Hicks was the Americans with Disabilities Act Coordinator for the Commonwealth of Kentucky for 5 years, assuring proper access and opportunities for people with disabilities.  She has been appointed to boards by a number of Governors and currently is a member of the Kentucky Assistive Technology Network along with serving as Chair for the Consumer Advisory Council of the Human Development Institute.  Her recent professional trainings include the National Leadership Consortium on DD at the University of Delaware and her certification is pending for the National ADA Coordinator Training Program.  She lives in Frankfort with her daughter, Stella, who is 15.
