Courtney Ham, is a Re-Entry Specialist with Aetna Better Health of Kentucky. For the past year, she has created Start Strong Reentry Program in the Kenton County Detention Center, serving those who are coming out of detention and re-entering their community. With 8 years of experience in criminal justice, she has worked with the Statewide Public Defender’s Office in Covington, Kentucky and was Managing Social Worker at the Louisville Metro Public Defender’s Office.  Courtney works locally and statewide to implement processes designed as “person-first”, in order to center the individual. She received a Masters in Social Work from Tulane University in New Orleans, LA and a Bachelor’s Degree in English from Berea College in Berea, Kentucky.
